A few days ago I saw a magnificent Golden Eagle diving into a lake.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen a Golden Eagle. I’ve seen many Bald Eagles – a few years ago one almost collided with my car and came within a few feet as I was driving in Montana.
I feel a MASSIVE new beginning and transformation with this Golden Eagle – who feels symbolically close to Phoenix energy.
Here’s a thought I rarely see discussed regarding raptors like Eagle and several others: In mid-life these birds go and hibernate in a high cave and rip out all of their tail and wing feathers and then smash off their beak. They do this because the feathers and beak from their old life have become too heavy for them to fly and hunt anymore. So they live off of grubs and insects in a cave until their feathers and beak grow back to the level where they can hunt again. So this is MASSIVE transformation energy and clearly not an easy transformation. And when these birds show up they bring a huge message of hope to those who have found themselves in the waiting room of life for FAR LONGER than they might have liked.
Part of the message here is that the transformation is underway, and you are getting ready to FLY out into your new life. So get excited! Good things are happening, even if it appears quite the opposite right now.
