In 2021, VERI (Veritaseum) wasn’t just ignored — it was under open attack. The SEC had come after the project, and this site’s own posts and video thumbnails from that era say it explicitly: they were trying to kill it. The AurAstrology position, published and dated, was the opposite of the consensus: the project would survive, the DeFi patents would prevail, and specific timing windows would mark the wins.
Then, in October 2021, the whole case was laid out in a short book — published on this site November 1, 2021: five weeks before the patent was approved.

Here is what happened next — all of it on the public record:
- In December 2021 — five weeks after the book was published — the US Patent Office approved Reggie Middleton’s DeFi patent: the exact ‘dominant patent in the category of DEFI’ outcome the book was built around.
- The timing windows were on the record even earlier: “the fall of 2021 — which was the exact timeframe I had previously predicted big changes and progress for both XRP and VERI” (a call published since spring 2020, when VERI sat at $3–4).
- VERI ran to roughly $100 in that window — documented in this site’s dated posts: “it would have a big run up — which it did in my exact timeframe… due to Reggie Middleton being issued a patent.” (Nov 22, 2024.)
- The honest scorecard: the book’s long-term case — VERI at $40,000 as DeFi patent royalties are enforced — remains OPEN, not verified. VERI looks dead today. The book’s whole argument is why that may not be the end of the story, and that claim stays on the record, unresolved.
